Our Pastured Chicken

Posted on | August 17, 2009 | No Comments

Moved daily to a fresh pasture paddock, our birds receive fresh air, exercise, sunshine, a fresh salad bar of forage, all sorts of insects, and all-natural grain, with no animal by-products, hormones or chemicals.

At Legacy Family Farm, we want every chicken to eat as much salad (various grasses and legumes) as its full genetic potential will allow. Raising up chickens this way is hard work, but we believe it’s worth it. The results speak for themselves. Our birds taste better and are better for you than the conventional “factory farm” chicken. We call it “chicken fit to eat” and we think you’ll agree.

Our chickens are processed at a USDA inspected facility.
